Marshal Service Cross-Deputizes with the City of Ramona

The Cherokee Nation recently entered into a cross-deputization agreement with the city of Ramona.

Marshal Service Restructures, Creates Districts

One district will be located north of Locust Grove, there will be a district located between Locust Grove and Stilwell and another district will be located south of Stilwell.

The changes will allow the Marshals to be more resonsive in community policing strategies.  There will be dedicated officers assigned to each district who will become familiar with the citizens, housing and activities associated with their district.

Captain James Redcorn will be the Northern District Commander, Lt. Don Bowin will head the Central District as commander and Lt. Vince Smith will be the Southern District Commander.

POLAR PLUNGE- MARCH 1, 2008, SATURDAY, 11:00 AM

 

 

 

 

 March 1, 2008, Saturday at Arrowhead Resort, Illinois River, Tahlequah, Oklahoma

A Polar Plunge is a fundraising challenge made to an individual or group challenging them to dive into a cold body of water in order to raise money for Special Olympics. Each participant collects pledges from family, friends and businesses in the hopes of raising lots of money for Special Olympics.  The Polar Plunge is coordinated by the Law Enforcement Torch Run which is an international charity made up of law enforcement personnel who raise money and awareness for Special Olympics.
